Restore skin's moisture with this soothing organic skincare balancing oil that's great for dry, sensitive, and mature skins. Fragrance free and deeply absorbent, this treatment is a hypoallergenic blend of two oils and blackthorn flower extract, which contains antioxidant vitamin C for protection against sun damage and tannins to tone and strengthen. The main ingredient in this natural skin care, sweet almond oil, is rich in essential fatty acids and restores skin's natural defenses, preventing moisture loss and ensuring softness. Pressed from the nut kernels of the sweet almond tree, this oil is gentle and has very little color and odor. Weleda uses only pharmaceutical-grade, organic sweet almond oil carefully harvested in California's Central Valley. The second oil comes from the seeds of a related tree, the plum. Plum kernel oil calms and rejuvenates. It contains vitamin E, an antioxidant that shields against damage from the environment, as well as vitamin A, which is protective against aging, improving texture and firmness. The two oils give the product a mild almond aroma. This night treatment is especially beneficial in spots prone to wrinkles, such as the eyelids, neck, and chest.
