The active ingredient in this SPF 30 organic sun care is micronized zinc oxide, a physical barrier sunscreen that's safer for marine life-and for you-than a chemical sunscreen. Water resistant for up to 40 minutes when you're swimming or sweating, this natural sun care provides extremely good protection against aging UVA rays while also shielding from burning UVB rays, and is top rated for both safety and effectiveness by the Environmental Working Group. The non-sticky base of organic extra-virgin olive oil, beeswax, jojoba oil, and shea and cocoa butters moisturizes skin as it protects, and the addition of sea buckthorn berry extract helps skin heal from sun burns and other sun damage. Certified organic essential oils lend a mild natural scent that both kids and adults will enjoy.
