Essential oils are usually blended into unscented products known as "carriers," so named because they "carry" the pure plant oils. Known to be too strong for direct skin application, essential oils need a base oil to thin them out. These nurturing vegetable oils have little to no fragrance and are excellent for moisturizing face, body, and hair. They can be used on their own, but for aromatherapeutic power, add a few drops of your favorite essential oils.
