Who We Are
Nature's Basin started in 2009 and now sells over 400 natural & organic skin care products and make up. Donna Wing founded the store with the aim to sell results-driven, clean, natural & safe beauty & personal care products. Donna is a speech pathologist by education and previously practiced speech therapy treating pre-school and elementary school children with speech and language impediments. One of the things she has always been concerned about is the connection between synthetic chemicals and its detrimental effects on physiological development among young children. Being a mother of two young children only made that concern more real. Hence Donna has always had a strong interest in and passion for natural and safe personal care products. But she always found it very difficult to identify truly safe products in the U.S. given there is no standard body governing and controlling the ingredients present in thousands of personal care and beauty care products that are being sold under the umbrella of natural and organic products. Donna spent many days doing her own research into the safety of the various products that Donna was purchasing for herself and her family. It was then very natural for her to open a web site store to offer the products that she assessed to be safe for herself and her family so that others can benefit from the same research and do not have to spend hours performing their own research. Donna also strongly believes in going above and beyond for customers to provide 100% customer satisfaction in everything we do. Its the combination of these two passions, natural & safe personal care products and 100% customer satisfaction, that Donna is trying to bring together in Nature's Basin.
